BGT™ DDB
BGT™ DDB is a biologically active polypeptide and neuropeptide designed to mimic Waglerin-1, a compound found in temple viper snake venom. As a tripeptide with a small molecular weight of less than 500 Da, BGT™ DDB easily penetrates the skin. It has garnered significant attention for its potent anti-aging and anti-wrinkle properties. BGT™ DDB functions as a reversible antagonist of the muscle nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (mnAChR), binding to the receptor and preventing acetylcholine from activating it. This blockage leads to the closure of the receptor, halting sodium ion intake and nerve excitation transmission, ultimately maintaining muscle relaxation and reducing expression lines. In a clinical study with 15 volunteers aged 40-60, a 4% concentration of BGT™ DDB cream applied twice daily for 28 days resulted in a 52% reduction in wrinkles, a smoothing effect in 80% of participants, and visibly reduced wrinkles in 73% of participants, making it particularly effective for older adults with deeper wrinkles.
